Today, I completed a self-imposed 28-day challenge. The objective was straightforward: To Do Hard Things. Personally, I find it difficult to relax, practice mindfulness and deep breathing, visualize my day, and particularly to take the time to write things down. My main aim was to expand my boundaries, step out of my comfort zone, and ultimately overcome self-imposed limitations for personal development.
Highlights:
Established a routine of jotting down my daily gratitude, achievements, and schedule.
I used sticky notes as reminders and also wrote on my mirror with a dry-erase marker.
Halfway through the challenge, I realized I started to become complacent, so I revised my routine with more specific workouts. This new approach kept me focused until the end.
I started small, creating momentum and confidence.
